According to the Indiana state law; all properties turned over in a given calendar year must also appear in the newspaper by November 30th of the following year.
The way you would search for Indiana money, property and assets is to search the Indiana Attorney Generals database. You can search for free by entering your name at their website. If you have more then one name, search that also. Include your middle name to when searching – maiden and nick names too.
Check the names of your grandparents and great-grandparents or other close relatives who have passed away too. Check the names of your family and friends to see if they have unclaimed property coming to them. You just never know what may come up.
